In a historic decision today, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of new federal regulations governing the use of personal flying vehicles, commonly known as "flying cars."

The case, AeroMobility v. United States Department of Transportation, challenged the government's right to impose strict licensing requirements and mandatory airspace lanes for civilian flying cars. In a 7-2 decision, the Court upheld the Transportation Department’s authority, stating that the unique risks of low-altitude aviation require a specialized regulatory framework distinct from traditional motor vehicle laws.
